Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to PGS Window Cleaning Services ("we," "our," or "us"). By booking our cleaning services, you ("the client," "you") agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern all interactions and agreements between you and PGS Window Cleaning Services and are designed to ensure clarity and protection for both parties.

By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Services Provided

We offer a variety of residential and commercial cleaning services, including but not limited to:


  • Window cleaning
     
  • Pressure washing (patios, driveways, and exterior surfaces)
     
  • Gutter cleaning


  • Solar panel cleaning and bird proofing
     

Service Limitations:


  • Our cleaners do not move heavy furniture, lift items over 10 kg, or clean areas beyond normal reach unless agreed upon in writing.
     
  • We do not provide services related to pest infestations, or biohazardous waste.
     
  • We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage, deterioration, or areas that cannot be cleaned due to structural issues or hazards.

3. Booking and Payments

  • All bookings must be confirmed in writing (via email, website, or SMS).
     
  • A deposit may be required for larger jobs, such as deep cleans or end-of-lease cleaning.
     
  • Full payment is required upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
     
  • We accept payments via cash, bank transfer, or PayID.
     

Late Payments & Fees:


  • If payment is not received on time, a late fee of 10% may apply.
     
  • If payment is not received within 5 business days, we reserve the right to engage a debt collection agency, and you will be liable for any additional collection costs.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  •  You may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled service without penalty.
     
  • Cancellations made within 12–24 hours of the scheduled time will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
     
  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled service or if our cleaners are unable to access the property will be charged the full service amount.
     

Company Cancellations:


  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances, such as staff illness, extreme weather, or unsafe work conditions. In such cases, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer a rescheduled service at a mutually convenient time.

5. Access to Property

  •  You are responsible for ensuring our cleaners have access to the property at the scheduled time.
     
  • If we are unable to enter due to locked doors, security restrictions, or incorrect access details, you may be charged the full service fee.
     
  • If keys or access codes are provided, we ensure confidentiality and will not share them with unauthorized persons.
     

Pets & Security:


  • If pets are present, they must be secured to ensure the safety of both our team and your animals.
     
  • We will not be held liable for pets escaping due to unsecured gates or doors.

6. Pricing and Estimates

  • Advertised prices, either combined offers or not, refer to places located within our service area which is 10km in radius from Epping, NSW.


  • First-time cleaning services, will be charged at the One-Off rate. Recurring service pricing will apply based on the timing of future bookings.

                               

  • Price adjustments will be made only at the discretion of the booking manager and based on service history and consistency.

 

  • Prices vary based on the size of the property, the frequency required, additional services requested, and the distance from our service area.
     
  • For larger properties, more hours, or outside our standard service area, the final price will be adjusted accordingly.
     
  • All quotes provided are estimates only and may be subject to change upon inspection of the property.
     
  • Additional charges may apply for:


  • Excessive dirt, grime, or clutter requiring extra time.
     
  • Additional windows, meters (for gutters), solar panels, or specialty cleaning requests.
     
  • Locations outside our standard service area.
     
  • Clients will be informed of any price adjustments before service commencement.


Discounts & Promotions


  • Discounts and promotions cannot be combined or stacked unless explicitly stated.
     
  • The "Refer a Friend" $10 discount can be redeemed only on services valued at $130 or more, is valid for one use per referral, and can be applied to a maximum of two referrals per visit.  (For example: If you refer three friends, you’ll receive a total of $30 in credits. You can use $20 on one service that costs $130 or more, and the remaining $10 on a future service of $130 or more.)
     
  • The Sign-Up 10% Discount is valid for services $130 and above, for the advertised timeframe, once per address, and may not be used with other offers or promotions.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee & Re-cleans

  • If you are not satisfied with the cleaning service, you must notify us within 24 hours of the service completion and we will arrange a re-clean if the issue is due to our service quality. The arrangement has to be agreed within three calendar days from the initial cleaning.


  • Scheduling for a re-clean will be subject to our next available slot. 


  • Refunds are not provided unless deemed necessary at our discretion.


  • Free re-clean/touch ups is offered if the total cleaning cost is $301 or more and the location is within 15km from Epping (based on Google Maps estimates).


  • Re-clean/touch ups are available only for one-off services.


  • We reserve the right to refuse service if a client is disrespectful, rude, unreasonable, or insists on scheduling under their own terms.


  • Additional fees for re-clean will apply if:
     
    • The total cleaning cost is $300 or less.
       
    • The location is more than 15km from Epping (based on Google Maps estimates).
       
    • The requested services were not included in the initial package.
       
    • The revisit requires more than one hour with one cleaner.
       
  • Re-clean/touch ups are not provided if the property condition is beyond our standard service scope (e.g., excessive clutter, hazardous conditions).
     
  • We are not responsible for stains, permanent damage, or areas that cannot be cleaned due to material limitations.

 

Client's Responsibilities:


  • The client is responsible for ensuring that the property is in a reasonable condition for cleaning and well maintained. This includes removing excessive clutter, ensuring access to areas to be cleaned, and addressing any hazardous or unsafe conditions prior to the cleaning.
     
  • Client is also responsible for ensuring a free parking spot for the cleaner long enough for the service to be completed. Otherwise, any parking fees will be added to the service bill.


  • If the property is in a state that significantly hinders the cleaning process, additional charges may apply or the service may be rescheduled.
     
  • Please ensure that any special instructions or concerns are communicated to us in advance to avoid any misunderstandings.

8. Liability & Damages

  • While we take great care, we are not liable for pre-existing damage or deterioration of surfaces and furnishings.
     
  • If accidental damage occurs, we must be notified within 24 hours. Claims made after this period will not be considered.
     
  • We are fully insured, but our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
     
  • If an item is fragile or high-value, please inform us before cleaning.
     
  • We do not clean valuable or antique items unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

9. Health and Safety

  • Our cleaners follow strict health and safety protocols, including the use of gloves, masks, and professional cleaning equipment.
     
  • We do not clean areas with excessive mold, pests, or hazardous materials.
     
  • If a cleaner feels unsafe due to unsanitary conditions or aggressive behavior, they may leave the premises immediately, and you will still be charged in full.
     
  • If anyone in the household has COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, you must inform us before the scheduled service. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule. (Check the right section for details)
     
  • Our staff will not work in environments where they feel their health is at risk.

10. Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy and will never share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law.
     
  • Any access details (e.g., keys, security codes) are kept strictly confidential.
     

Marketing & Communication:


By booking our services, you agree to receive occasional promotional emails or SMS updates. You can opt out at any time.

11. Governing Law

 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of NSW courts.

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
     
  • Any significant changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website.
